About the event
Join me and Magdalena Wisniewska for a Q&A evening on physiotherapy for pregnancy and labour.
PelviCare founder and Chartered Physiotherapist Magdalena qualified with a Masters of Physiotherapy degree in 2011 and began her physiotherapy career with a mix of private practice and hospital placements. During her 10 year career, Magdalena has worked in many areas of physiotherapy, including orthopaedics, neurology and sports physiotherapy, and so brings a wide range of skills into her work. She discovered her passion for women’s health and decided to specialise in this field with PelviCare, a clinic that effectively assesses and treats musculoskeletal and pelvic dysfunction in women, many of whom are experiencing pregnancy or recovering after birth. Magdalena is committed to providing evidenced-based care and regularly attends ongoing professional development courses to ensure she is providing the best standard of care for her patients. Her motto is to treat each patient’s whole body, not just their symptoms. She is a member of the Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP), which is the professional network of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is also a certified Mummy MOT® practitioner.
