Terms and conditions

Client Terms & Conditions 

Courses must be booked and paid for at the point of booking unless otherwise agreed. 

Orders: 

A booking does not constitute the creation of a contract and Better Birth reserves the right to decline to process a booking for any reason whatsoever.  If the booking is not able to be fulfilled Better Birth will promptly refund all monies. VAT is not applicable.

Cancellations and missed sessions: 

Better Birth reserves the right to amend or cancel any course, course times, dates or publishes prices.  Changes to course prices, times and dates will be advised before the course start date and any course already paid in full will not be subject to the increased prices.  Should Better Birth need to cancel part of a course, a refund will only be given for the part of the course not yet delivered minus the cost of course materials.

If the client misses a session or wishes to reschedule, Better Birth will endeavour to accommodate changes, but if no agreeable date can be arranged to suit both parties, or if the session is rescheduled more than once by the client, they will receive the slides from the session only with no monetary refund for the session missed.

In the case of cancellation by a client, £50 is non-refundable. Further to that, the following cancellation charges will apply:

14 – 29 days                                                  50% of course fee

13 days or less                                               100% of course fee

However in the unlikely event the course date you have chosen is cancelled by me, you will be offered an alternative date, if you cannot attend this date, I will refund your full course fee.

Intellectual Property:

Any recordings or written material included as part of this course are the sole property of Better Birth and may not be used or copied other than for the personal use of the participant without obtaining prior written permission from Better Birth.

Data Protection

The participant also agrees that Better Birth shall hold your details on file and on computer and, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.  You are able to view your individual file by giving not less than seven days written notice.

Better Birth accepts no responsibility for the inappropriate use of Hypnobirthing techniques or complications or harm to any third party resulting from the use of Hypnobirthing techniques as a substitute for medical advice.  Hypnobirthing is intended solely as an ‘aid’ to ‘help’ increase the comfort of labour and  birth and is not in any way a guarantee or promise of expected, imagined or actual outcome of the labour or birth in any way, shape or form.  Participation in Hypnobirthing classes in any part or in total by any person or third party is undertaken with the understanding by any persons or third party that no litigation or legal action whatsoever will be initiated or that no form of compensation or reimbursement or refund will be claimed or applied for at any time now or in the future against Better Birth and its representatives under any circumstances whatsoever.

Agreement:

Any booking of a Hypnobirthing class assumes full and informed compliance to and agreement with all of these terms and conditions of sale.  In the event of a dispute, English law pertains.
